Tickets go on sale April 4, 2008 at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at the Aztec Center Box Office, Cox Arena Box Office and all Ticketmaster locations. In August of 1994, guitarist Mike Scheuchzer made Mercy Me a trio. The three bandmates, who now lived in Oklahoma City, formed Mercy Me. From there the group began to attract local promoters and found itself opening for Audio Adrenaline. Its concerts grew to 200 dates per year. Bassist Nathan Cochran and percussionist Robby Shaffer joined the group, transforming it from a trio into a five-member band. Mercy Me, with six independent projects to its credit, signed with INO Records and released Almost There in August 2001. In 2003, the group was nominated for the Favorite Contemporary Inspirational Artist at the American Music Awards. |
