The diverse program will include fiction, documentary, animation, and experimental works. Students in the Television and Film program have garnered accolades in recent months by winning distinguished film and television awards such as the U. S. Jury Prize at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival and an Emmy from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for a television sitcom pilot. Other recent awards come from the CSU Media Arts Festival, Blacklist, BestFest America and the Sacramento Film and Music Festival.
